In addition to psychotherapy, I also enjoy providing personal training and, when desired, weave appropriate fitness modalities into my work with clients.
When I embarked on my journey to become a psychotherapist, I had a vision of helping people change their lives holistically by combining my passion for physical and mental health wellness. As a former fitness coach and athlete, I was already experienced in helping individuals with diverse abilities, needs and goals optimize their psychical health through thoughtful program design and guidance. Guided by my desire to close the divide between mental and physical health in Western medicine, I gained a profound understanding of the symbiotic connection between mind and body and realized my vision in offering holistic care services.
Through years of coaching and training services, I became well-versed in a variety of fitness modalities. In considering the best ways to help clients with their fitness goals, I decided to focus on kettlebells due to their versatility and practicality for use (indoors and outdoors even in very small spaces). I am a certified kettlebell instructor through StrongFirst (SFG I). For more information about this world-renown organization please visit: https://www.strongfirst.com/
